Our life now..

   We are doing great in our new home. I miss all of you, but our house and new town are wonderful at the same time. I am very excited to get to start dance again next fall. I would have started when we first moved (that was the plan anyway..), but the studio that I am going to go to is working on a new studio building. So they are not opening back up until next fall.
   I am taking a Floor barre class just a few minutes away from my house for now, but they are breaking for the holidays. After the classes are back, I may start taking private jazz lessons with the teacher of the Floor Barre class.
   I think when the teacher (and owner of the studio I am going to go to) opens the studio back up she is not going to have a competition team at first, but she may have one later on. I am not sure ow that is going to work out, because I love competing, but we'll see.

I will try to write some more tomorrow...TRY. : )

End of moving week - and some other stuff...

Hey guys.
So we moved all our stuff into our new house this week but...there is so many boxes, furniture and stuff in our garage and it's driving me CRAZY! Lol.

Everyone is having vocal practice except for me (and of course the people just playing instruments and not singing at the same time). Everyone says that my time will come, but it makes me sad that don't get to sing right now. They are trying to work out a mike situation so there can be another person singing on stage in the worship band. I guess it will be worth it when my time to be up there does come, but still...it still is hard in the mean time. : /

Anyway, I don't want to dump my problems on you and make you crazy, but...you know, you always need to vent on someone sometimes. ; )

My favorite time of year is autumn. It's usually when it starts get cool outside and I just love the temp. I can't wait till we have Christmas in our new house. It's going to be beautiful. I'll wake up, come down stairs, see the presents and my family, see all the decorations, smell the coffee (my parents'), and have a great Christmas thanking God for all He's done with my family. It's going to be wonderful.

Can you believe the things that God does for us sometimes (most of the time)? I still can't believe that house is ours and that we are closing on our house next week. God is so good!

New house

Guess what!
I still can't believe it...You know how we looked at this amazing house a couple weeks ago that we thought we would never be able to live in??? Well, in the same 24 hours of finding out we had a buyer for our house, we found out that the dream house was ours!

I can not believe this happening! It's funny...before we found out that it was ours, I wouldn't let myself think about how wonderful it would to live in it because I didn't want to get my hopes up and then be let down. So now, every time I think about it, I find myself still trying to stop myself. Lol.

I am SO excited about this house! Here is a picture of the front...

Isn't it amazing?? And it's my house! I can't believe it! It was all God! Thank you so much, God!

We are moving!

We are MOVING! Our Realtor is the one who is going to by it! I can't believe it! I mean, I knew we were going to sell it sometime, but I didn't really know how it was going to feel when it did, you know? I'm so excited about moving. I can't wait. We should be closing on the house toward the end of October or the beginning of November. YAY! I am sad about leaving my friends though. But we will still see each other. So anyway, I just wanted to catch you up! This happened last night.

So as you probably know, it's September 11th. I went to Bible study tonight, and this guy came and shared his testimony. Now this guy was a cop in New York City for a long time. He was actually there at work as a cop, when they first tried to attack there in 1993. He said that it through him 6 feet back. He moved here the July before September 11 happened. He said that as soon as it happened, he got in his car, and wouldn't stop for anyone.

It's a scary thing to think about, that we aren't guaranteed tomorrow, but an older gentlemen shared something with the group that I didn't really think about, and made me feel a little bit better. He said that a lot of people fear things more after 9-11 happened, but he said that it made him feel stronger in his belief that his safety and security is in God, and God alone.

Well, it's raining. Rain is a funny thing. When I was little, I used to imagine that the rain came down when God was taking a shower. We have two little kids staying with us this week, and their taking a nap right now. Well, my mom needs the puter, so BYE!

I went and did a Floor Barre class this morning, and it was really cool. I liked it. The last studio that I checked out was nice, but it wasn't really what I was looking for. I just ate about half of my ice cream sandwich. It was YUMMY. But whenever I eat one of those, I think of my Grammy that died almost two years ago. That was the snack I had every time I went to her house. She knew I loved them, so she always had them when I came over. But that's okay. She's with God now. It's funny, when ever she would watch baseball game, she would yell at the player on the TV saying, "Fall! Fall! Fall!" And then one day she said that, and they fell. Knowing her, she is probably up in heaven making the players fall in their games. My family and I were joking around and talking about how God is probably up their with her and going "Roselle, are you making the baseball players fall again?!?!" I loved her a lot, and I still do. I'm glad she's not in pain anymore, though.

Well, I have to go now.
